Our mission is to accelerate cancer care by equipping clinicians and healthcare professionals with the world’s best medical imaging. With over 1.5 million patients treated each year using Mirada products, our work makes a real difference throughout oncology and cancer care.
Mirada’s Development Team are seeking a self-motivated software engineer with an interest in the medical imaging domain to participate in the design and development of Mirada’s global software systems. Working collaboratively within small multi-discipline project teams, you will take a role specialising in the development of Mirada’s medical software products and being involved in all aspects of the product lifecycle to bring new versions to market.
- Software development including analysis, architecture and design, development, testing and all associated documentation
- Actively participate in the quality process and contribute to its continuous improvement
- Support and maintenance activities for software issues including, where necessary, site-visits
- Validation of internal and 3rd party software
- May coordinate and lead the work of small teams, reporting progress to Technical Leads
- Complying with the requirements of the Quality Management System and Information Security Management System and all policies and procedures
- Reporting Non-Conformances, Reportable Events and Information security Incidents
BSc computer science or relevant Science/Engineering degree
Experience in Java development, including the use of Swing
Experience of developing software to requirement specifications
Understanding the full software development lifecycle
