Role Description

We are seeking a Locum Bank Sonographer to join our dedicated team in a full-time, on-site position located in Leeds. Responsibilities include performing 2D, 3D, and 4D ultrasound scans, gender confirmation scans, and fetal health assessments. The role involves delivering a high standard of care and creating a welcoming and comfortable experience for patients and their families. Additional responsibilities include maintaining compliance with regulatory guidelines, collaborating with a skilled medical team, and ensuring the confidentiality and accuracy of patient records.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Ultrasound Radiology
• Credentials with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) added Advantage
• Expertise in Vascular ultrasound techniques and related diagnostics
• HCPC registration and membership in the Society of Radiographers and BMUS
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care
• Previous experience in obstetric or antenatal ot general ultrasound is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
