Job Introduction
We are looking for the perfect candidate to join our team as a Business Development Manager, working on building relationships and expanding contracts with some of the most prestigious schools within the UK. This is a new and exciting role, a real opportunity for someone to join a thriving and passionate team.
The role:
This new role would suit someone with proven sales experience, as well as the ability to follow through right until mobilisation.The ideal candidate would be from an Educational Catering background. They will also have bags of personality and enthusiasm with a personable approach and a strong sense of self awareness!
Role Responsibility- Being accountable for annual sales targets within an assigned territory.
- Achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Engage with new business clients to understand their business needs and objectives.
- Effectively communicate the value of our proposition through proposals and presentations.
- Build relationships with consultants and internal colleagues/departments to plan, manage and deliver high-quality tender responses/proposals.
- Manage the full sales process for small to large bids (circa £50,000 - £2m)
- Previous experience and/or educated in a sales arena through understanding client buying behaviours and building client relationships.
- Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organisation, including the leadership team.
- Proven ability to follow the sales process from plan to close.
- Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services.
- Proven ability to position products against competitors.
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to update and maintain the company CRM system.
- Being a team player and working with internal colleagues to maximise all bids and the process.

Role Details - 40hours per week, 52 weeks per year, Highly Competitive Salary
