This new role offers a unique opportunity to lead and build a team of ERP Workday experts. You will play a pivotal role in collaborating with global stakeholders at all seniority levels to ensure their reporting and Workday operational needs are met effectively. You will have the chance to work on a wide range of initiatives while scaling and future-proofing MiQ’s Workday ERP. This includes refining the operating model for MiQ and embedding efficiencies across the business using features introduced by the new ERP program. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the implementation and management of Workday ERP systems.
  • Grow, lead, motivate, and develop a cohesive global ERP team of functional experts and admins/analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Accountable for overall strategic direction, operations and ongoing development of Workday.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership across the business to align Workday strategy with overall business goals.
  • Propose optimisation and cost reductions to drive efficiency and scalability, both in and out of systems.
  • Identify areas of the business that require new processes/policies/legal considerations/decisions before finding technical solutions.
  • Partner with leadership to identify and manage risks, security issues, and dependencies across regions and functions within Workday.
  • Lead and develop a global team of Workday Admins and Analysts.
  • Mentor, support and motivate a team of ERP professionals, fostering a positive, collaborative, innovative and inclusive team culture.
  • Actively contribute to ERP Governance, Risk, and Compliance board.
  • Manage Workday ERP systems and oversee updates to existing applications, ensuring seamless integration, functionality and alignment with business needs.
  • Partner with VP of Innovation and Growth Programs to stay abreast of industry ERP best practices, monitor AI innovations, identify business uses, and implement latest developments into our ERP ecosystem.
  • Lead the identification and selection of new applications within the Workday Tech stack.
  • Drive Change Management to ensure accountability, leadership alignment, training delivery, user adoption and communications.
  • Lead the operational mechanism and governance committee to ensure governance processes are in place for ongoing role clarity, stakeholder engagement, simplified decision-making, roadmap communication, system management and compliance.
  • Accountable for CIP, decision logs, documentation and managing budget.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Extensive experience in Workday ERP implementation and program management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and technologies, specifically within Finance and HCM.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Working knowledge of global and regional compliance and legal requirements for Finance and Human Resources functions.
  • Able to develop excellent working relationships across the business whilst developing your own team.
  • A focus on attention to detail, with a mindset curious for improvements and efficiency.
