What You’ll Do
We are looking for a Group Commercial Director, Agency Sales to lead holding company growth. You will head up the holding company sales team and report to Rob Linton. In your position, you will be responsible for all holding company revenue and partnerships, and will be the go‑to holding company subject matter expert for the UK business.
- Sales team leader: Lead, train and inspire the holding company sales team day in, day out, cultivating a high‑energy sales environment motivated to over‑deliver for our clients and across our strategic UK business priorities.
- Strategic growth driver: Partner on the commercial strategy and head up the execution to deliver deeply integrated omnichannel growth with all holding companies through capability‑led managed service selling and solutions. You will lead pitches and expertly demonstrate our award‑winning product suite, including Sigma, to achieve this.
- Stakeholder & partnership builder: Build and deepen fantastic partnerships with strategically important senior holding company personnel and senior agency client leads, ensuring MiQ is front of mind and well positioned as their preferred and consolidated managed service partner of choice in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating and sustaining a high‑energy sales culture that is tenacious, ambitious and motivated to beat UK strategic and revenue targets.
- Providing clear direction on where to play and how to win across holding companies, and ensuring day‑to‑day execution discipline in pipeline, forecasting and account planning.
- Owning quarterly deeper account planning and stakeholder mapping, ensuring the sales team are channeling their efforts and energy in the most effective manner.
- Coaching, developing and mentoring team members so that they are recognised and revered by internal and external stakeholders alike, and known for being the best at what they do.
- Championing pitch and positioning training, mobilising the holding company sales team to most effectively learn and land existing and new products in the market, so each person feels empowered to achieve their goals across their patch.
Drive UK Holding Company Commercial Growth Through
- Owning our approach and strategy to suit the evolving needs of holding companies, so we can be the best partner we can be, one that helps them expedite the attainment of their priorities.
- Ensuring our omnichannel product and capabilities best reflect the needs of holding companies, partnering with the strategy team to shape the narrative for this.
- Leveraging Sigma, our AI and technology platform, as a more prominent part of our partnerships with holding companies – reflecting its importance and significance to us.
- Being a MiQ voice and a figurehead among the holding company community.
- Personally strengthening strong relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
- Partnering with marketing and product marketing to develop and deliver thought leadership and event content that tells our holding company story brilliantly in market.
Shape UK Strategy And Execution By
- Acting as a key member of the UK Operating Board, helping to define and deliver UK strategic priorities across commercial, product, AI and marketing.
- Collaboratively partnering with global commercial and global product & marketing teams to bring global expertise and commercial opportunities into the UK, while feeding UK priorities upstream to global.
- Providing input into interview and hiring processes for UK‑wide talent, irrespective of department, contributing positively to talent acquisition as we continue to scale our business.
What You’ll Bring
- Significant experience as an omnichannel managed service sales leader, with an abundance of proven success selling into senior holding company stakeholders and agency client leads.
- Deep understanding of full‑funnel, omnichannel monetisation – across CTV, YouTube, high‑impact display, DOOH, audio, native and social – including the nuances of each channel.
- Clear evidence of building fantastic partnerships with the right senior holding company personnel and agency client leads.
- A strategic and commercial mindset, able to identify where we can win incremental share across each holding company and translate that into concrete sales plans and narratives.
- A people‑first leadership style: you naturally self‑orientate towards others and are highly motivated by the attainment of collective goals and the development of others.
- A curious and confident approach to using AI; you are keen to keep building your understanding as the space evolves.
- An ambition and strong, growth‑oriented mindset to take MiQ UK through its next defining chapter – a clear can‑do attitude and desire to grow alongside MiQ as we cement our position as the de facto programmatic managed service partner for the UK market.
