What You'll Do

The FP&A Manager of Reporting and Analytics plays a pivotal, forward-looking role in guiding a company's financial strategy by transforming data into actionable insights for senior leadership.

  • Reporting & Management Information: Preparing and delivering comprehensive, insightful monthly reporting packs and dashboards for executive and board-level review.
  • Data Analysis & Insight Generation: Conducting in-depth variance analysis (actuals vs. budget/forecast) and performance tracking, clearly explaining drivers of discrepancies to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborating closely with business unit leaders, sales, operations, and other departments to provide commercial input, align operational goals with financial targets, and influence decision-making.
  • Process Improvement & Automation: Championing the digitalization agenda by identifying and implementing improvements in FP&A processes, controls, and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ad-Hoc Analysis: Providing timely financial analysis and support for special projects, such as potential mergers, acquisitions, or cost-saving initiatives.

What You'll Bring

Successful candidates for this role typically possess a combination of technical expertise and soft skills.

  • Education & Qualifications: A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent (e.g., relevant degree or MBA) is typically required.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in financial modelling and Microsoft Excel is essential, along with experience using ERP systems and financial software (e.g., SAP, Workday Adaptive Planning). Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is highly desirable.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical acumen and the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the confidence to present findings to senior leadership and build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Attributes: A proactive, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and resilient approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
