We are looking to recruit a Resource Manager to provide leadership to our on-site Learning Disability Supported Living Service staff team(s). Our multiple on-site teams provide 24‑hour support in a variety of locations across Oldham. We offer bespoke packages to people with a learning and/or physical disability and enduring mental health problems either in a small, shared home or a larger property where residents live within self‑contained accommodation. We work with individuals in a person‑centred way, enabling them to maintain a safe and healthy lifestyle. We are looking for caring, creative, energetic people to join our team. People with integrity and a drive to learn and further their own capabilities, contributing in turn to an outstanding service delivered alongside their colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and direction to staff team(s), ensuring the provision of high‑quality person‑centred care within an enabling and encouraging environment in which the people we support can develop and thrive.
  • Set, deliver and maintain the highest standards of care, including developing positive outcome‑based care plans, supportive risk assessments, effective medication management and infection prevention and control routines and the provision of dignified and respectful personal care services.
  • Champion the needs of people we support, liaising with families, working with other professionals in multi‑disciplinary teams and supporting all areas of financial management.
  • Responsible for the operational management and quality of the service, collaborating with the housing provider, local authority and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure that Care Quality Commission (CQC) care standards are met and the highest level of customer service is provided.
  • Ensure that policies and regulations pertaining to management of buildings, fire safety, food safety, personal hygiene and infection control, environmental health, general safety and security are adhered to by staff, tenants and visitors.
