Digital Press Operator / Print Finisher

We are a printing and marketing design company based in Central Manchester. We are currently seeking someone who is looking to develop their future as a Digital press operator and Print finisher in a digital print, design and marketing company. Minuteman Press offers all aspects of design, marketing and print solutions to its customers. Our clients range from small independent businesses to large blue chip companies. We design print and provide a huge range of products for our customers such as business cards, flyers, brochures, logos, menus, signage, promotional products and much more. This exciting opportunity would suit someone who has the motivation and desire to work in a friendly, fast paced environment. Full training will be provided for the ideal candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Graphic design and digital pre-press tasks
  • Dealing with new and existing clients on the phone, by email and face to face.
  • Support the digital print and finishing operative
  • Digital press operator
  • Print finisher
  • Guillotine operator
  • Helping in the finishing process of digital production products such as folding, stapling, creasing, drilling, etc.
  • Operating the laminator, booklet maker, and other equipment
  • Helping out in all other areas of the business when required.

Key attributes for candidate

  • High knowledge in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator & basic Photoshop
  • Creative designs skills with ability to work to deadlines
  • Good customer service skills are essential (Excellent verbal and written English skills)
