Minty is growing, and we’re looking for a Digital PR Specialist who wants to merge “great SEO” and the world of AI search (GEO).

Location: UK/Remote | Contract: UK | Reports to: Digital PR Manager | Progression: Organic Search Strategist

The Role

We’re hiring an ambitious Digital PR Executive to join our team full-time. This is a role designed with rapid progression in mind: we’re looking for someone with a couple of years of experience who wants to grow into an Organic Search Strategist.

This role will fit someone who can run Digital PR campaigns confidently, but also understands SEO and the emerging world of AI search (GEO) from day one. You’ll work across UK, US and EU clients, supporting our Digital PR Manager, owning campaigns end-to-end, and collaborating closely with our SEO team.

Core Responsibilities

  • Ideating creative, newsworthy campaigns that earn coverage across UK, US and EU markets
  • Researching, building and maintaining media lists tailored to each campaign and client
  • Writing compelling press releases, pitches and follow-ups
  • Outreaching to journalists and securing top-tier earned media placements
  • Building and nurturing long-term relationships with journalists and key publications
  • Supporting reactive PR with newsjacking, expert comments, trend-based outreach
  • Tracking coverage, links and campaign performance, and feeding insights back into strategy
  • Building clear, useful reports for clients (coverage, links, sentiment, share of voice)
  • Supporting the Digital PR Manager across multiple accounts and bigger campaign launches
  • Bringing big ideas to brainstorms and confidently pitching PR concepts internally and to clients
  • Working with third-party agencies, consultants and freelancers when needed
  • Helping refine and improve our outreach, ideation and reporting processes

Working alongside SEO

We see Digital PR and SEO as two halves of the same organic search picture. You’ll work closely with our SEO team to make sure every campaign drives real organic performance.

Specifically you will:

  • Understand the SEO value of a placement including anchor text, relevance, domain authority, page placement
  • Brief in landing pages and assets that maximise SEO impact from coverage
  • Translate coverage and links into measurable organic performance for clients
  • Confidently talk about SEO in client meetings, even if you’re not running the technical work yourself

Understanding of GEO and AI Research

Organic search is changing fast. AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Copilot are now part of how people discover brands, and we’re investing heavily in Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO). We want someone genuinely curious about this space and willing to learn how to:

  • Earn brand mentions in the publications and sources LLMs read and cite
  • Build narratives and entity associations that increase brand visibility in AI answers
  • Track when and where our clients appear across AI answer engines
  • Treat every piece of coverage as both a backlink and a brand mention feeding AI
  • Spot the difference between coverage that gets clicks today and coverage that gets cited by AI tomorrow

We don’t expect you to be an expert here on day one but we expect you to be interested, opinionated, and willing to grow with us as this space develops.

Beneficial Experience

  • Minimum 2 years agency experience
  • Demonstrable coverage wins in UK, US or EU markets
  • Portfolio of recent work and results achieved
  • Comfortable writing pitches, press releases and reactive comments at pace
  • Experience using outreach and media database tools (e.g. Meltwater, Muck Rack)
  • Familiarity with SEO basics such as anchor text, domain authority, follow vs nofollow, link relevance
  • High level of written English
  • Self-motivated, organised and unafraid to make suggestions on how we can improve
  • A genuine interest in PR, SEO, content marketing and AI search
