The People Operations Specialist leads the delivery of employee lifecycle services across multiple South APAC countries in a decentralized shared services model. This role ensures process consistency, systems accuracy, and employee experience quality by owning onboarding and offboarding processes, coordinating benefits and payroll inputs, and serving as a go-to resource for system-related guidance and compliance.
What You Will Be Doing
- Own and execute onboarding and offboarding processes across the supported South APAC countries, ensuring documentation, systems, access, and communication are complete and compliant.
- Manage employee data in company’s HR System, UKG effectively. Employee lifecycle changes i.e job transfers, leaves management, benefits management and resignations are updated efficiently.
- Act as a key UKG support resource for employees and managers—providing basic training, troubleshooting, and promoting self-service adoption.
- Preparation of monthly payroll details for South APAC countries for submission to Payroll team for payroll processing.
- Coordinate with external vendors (e.g., insurance providers, immigration services) for onboarding and ongoing People-related services.
- Maintain and track regionally required leave records, benefits documents, and other compliance-sensitive information.
- Prepare employee lifecycle related letters i.e employee verification, promotion, salary adjustment, work visa support etc.
- Provide monthly reporting and analytics (e.g., turnover, joiners/leavers, headcount) to regional leadership.
- Support internal audits and implement system/process improvements where appropriate.
- Support in any other task related to HR global operations matters as and when required.

Who We Are Looking For
- Minimum 3 years' HR Generalist experience; work experience in a shared service model preferred.
- A detail-oriented and meticulous job incumbent.
- Critical and possess good analytical problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated with initiative to learn and explore.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities.
- Regional experience in managing HR Operations for South APAC countries Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, India, Australia and/or New Zealand is a plus.
- Proficient with other HRIS and related HR software.
