We’re seeking a Sales Enablement Specialist who will help equip our commercial teams with the knowledge, skills, content, tools, and communications they need to perform effectively across the client lifecycle.
Working in close partnership with Product, Marketing, and Commercial Leadership, you will deliver the onboarding, ongoing learning, content and knowledge management, technology and process adoption, and commercial communications that improve sales productivity, accelerate ramp-to-performance, and drive consistent execution across our commercial teams.
Why join Mintel?
We are the world's leading market intelligence agency and technology underpins our success.
We help our clients understand consumers and consumer markets and aspire to provide the market intelligence behind every great business decision.
What You’ll Do
- Onboarding & certification
- Design and facilitate structured onboarding programmes and certification paths across sales segments.
- Define and track key ramp metrics — including time-to-first-deal and time-to-productivity and continuously optimise onboarding based on performance data and feedback.
- Ongoing learning & capability development
- Design and deliver ongoing learning that reinforces commercial skills, product knowledge, and sales methodologies, through workshops, webinars, and certification activities focused on consultative selling and commercial best practice.
- Maintain annual enablement calendars and structured learning pathways, and measure participation, knowledge retention, and training effectiveness.
- Content & knowledge management
- Partner with Product Marketing, Commercial Leadership, and Sales Excellence to translate product updates, market trends, and competitive insight into sales-ready content — playbooks, battlecards, messaging guides, discovery frameworks, and objection-handling resources.
- Act as steward of commercial knowledge management: keeping content current, accessible, and well-governed, and establishing processes for content creation, review, approval, and retirement.
- Technology & process adoption
- Train teams on CRM systems and sales tools (e. g.
Salesforce, Dynamics), support CRM hygiene, and advocate for tool adoption through change-management and user-engagement activities.
- Support the roll-out of new commercial processes and technologies with communication, training, and adoption plans, gathering feedback to identify and remove barriers to adoption.
- Commercial communications & alignment
- Own a centralised communication channel and single source of truth for commercial updates, coordinating timing to keep Sales, Client Success, Client Support, and Product Support aligned.
- Act as a central coordination point for enablement activity, sharing best practice across commercial teams and regions.
- Measurement & continuous improvement
- Monitor and report on enablement effectiveness across onboarding, learning, content, tools, and communications — analysing adoption, participation, utilisation, certification completion, and readiness.
- Produce quarterly enablement scorecards and recommend improvements based on performance insight.
- You’re curious and unafraid to challenge assumptions.
- You do your best work alongside others and share knowledge openly.
- You value rigour and quality, and build on what’s proven.
- You experiment, take initiative, and learn quickly from what doesn’t work.
What We’re Looking For
Skills & competencies
- Programme and instructional design, with a talent for translating complex information into practical, sales-ready resources.
- Change management and adoption strategy.
- Content strategy and knowledge management.
- Project and programme management.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with excellent organisational and delivery capabilities.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft tools; familiarity with Share Point or similar content-management platforms.
- Data literacy; able to interpret and report on performance metrics and dashboards.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management across Product, Marketing, and Commercial Leadership.
Experience & qualifications
- 3–5+ years in Sales Enablement, Learning & Development, Sales Operations, Commercial Excellence, or a related commercial role — ideally in a B2B environment.
- Experience designing and delivering onboarding, training, or professional-development programmes.
- Experience managing content repositories, playbooks, or knowledge-management systems.
- Experience supporting CRM and commercial-technology adoption initiatives.
- A track record of influencing stakeholders across functions and managing cross-functional initiatives.
