We are looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to join our finance team on a 6-month interim basis to support year-end audit and reporting. This role is critical in ensuring a smooth and timely close process and will suit someone with a strong technical accounting background and hands-on experience in audit preparation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support year-end audit preparation, including compiling audit schedules and liaising with external auditors
  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
  • Assist with balance sheet reviews and variance analysis
  • Provide support across finance operations and contribute to process improvements
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure audit readiness

Requirements

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with solid post-qualification experience
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience in audit preparation (practice or industry)
  • Proficiency in NetSuite is essential
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
