Mintel has provided research and intelligence solutions to consumer-focused businesses for more than 50 years. Mintel China is looking for a candidate who can accelerate the growth of its business for Professional Services. The portfolio is currently focused on agency clients and also has retail, academic, home appliance, and tech brands. The chosen candidate will be responsible for delivering the commercial targets for their given portfolio and will be working closely with the client success team to ensure both client retention and growth in line with company requirements.
What You Will Be Doing
- Planning the growth of the assigned portfolio and managing a pipeline of growth opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with prospects’ decision-makers and major influencers.
- Identify and understand the client’s business objectives and work with the client success team to ensure that our support delivers on client objectives.
- Prepare proposals for partnership reviews and renewals for clients.
- Implement all necessary strategies and skills to demonstrate and secure Mintel’s value.
- Ensure healthy and accurate forecast of your portfolio.
Who We Are Looking For
- Commercially-minded: Proven track record of delivering return on investment and achieving sales targets both individually and when leading a team.
- Client-Obsessed: Actively join your team’s client meetings to speak with and listen to clients, ensuring appropriate executive engagement.
- Great communicator: Extremely polished verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to suit each client and team.
- Short and long-term focused: Understanding of immediate sales results while making adjustments for future success.
- Creative problem-solver: Ability to identify complex problems and develop optimal solutions.
- A Practitioner: At least 3 years of individual sales/account management success, with a focus on new business development and selling consultancy solutions to the C-suite.
