The Role

• Total management of cash flow
• Preparation of GRNI reconciliation
• Working closely with the management accounts team on GL close
• Accurately reviewing balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparing and submitting the HMRC Creditors report in a timely manner
• Liaising with parent company (BCC) on supplier credit checks
• Supporting with internal and external audit queries
• Continuously review, design and develop ways of working to drive efficiencies within the team
• Implementing innovations and improvements to existing processes
• Demonstrating strong people management skills – leading your team with the right balance of support and challenge to ensure your team delivers great results
• Operating as the transactional Finance lead on business wide projects, partnering with internal and external stakeholders
• Supporting the team with \’business as usual\’ activity, covering holidays and absences when needed

What You\’ll Have

• A minimum of 5 years\’ experience in a similar role, preferably in the retail industry
• Resilient, you are a confident decision-maker who is adaptable and can effectively navigate through both anticipated and unexpected changes
• Effective communicator, relationship-building and managing expectations with internal and external stakeholders
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Able to manage multiple tasks at once in fast-paced environment, supporting your team to do the same
• A growth mindset; always looking to improve ways of working, learn from challenges and implement solutions
• Able to create an inspiring, effective and collaborative culture within your team and beyond
