We’re seeking a Quality Engineer with a strong background in electrical and solar installations to join a major utility-scale renewable energy project. This is a permanent position offering immediate start and clear progression into a Site Manager role.
The Role:
- Site-based position within the quality function
- Oversee installation quality, carry out inspections, and sign off works
- Monitor subcontractors and ensure compliance with quality and HSE standards
- Review electrical drawings, including SLDs, to validate installation accuracy
Requirements:
- Proven experience in electrical/site supervision (5+ years)
- BS7671 (18th Edition) essential
- City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) and NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installations
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction/engineering drawings and SLDs
- Experience with cables, terminations, and inspection/testing
- Solar experience preferred
Package:
- £45,000 basic, up to £50,000 for exceptional candidates
- Travel and accommodation covered when required
- 5-day working week
