Our client, a leading renewable energy developer, is seeking a Senior P6 Programme Planner to join their growing delivery team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the successful development and delivery of large-scale solar PV and battery energy storage projects, supporting nationally significant infrastructure programmes across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and manage integrated master programmes across project development, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover phases using Primavera P6.
- Create and maintain programme templates, schedules, and reporting frameworks to support project delivery consistency.
- Ensure project schedules are logic-linked, resource-informed, and aligned with key milestones and delivery objectives.
- Manage programme baselines, change control processes, and schedule governance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress, identify programme risks, and provide proactive mitigation strategies to key stakeholders.
- Review and challenge contractor and supplier programmes, ensuring compliance with project requirements and contractual obligations.
- Develop integrated procurement schedules for critical equipment and long-lead items.
- Conduct critical path analysis, schedule risk assessments, and programme impact assessments associated with project changes.
- Support the assessment of delay events, extensions of time, disruption claims, and programme recovery strategies where required.
- Prepare and present programme reports, forecasts, and schedule performance updates to project teams and senior stakeholders.
Experience & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in project planning, programme controls, or scheduling within renewable energy, infrastructure, utilities, transmission, or construction sectors.
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, including development and management of integrated project schedules.
- Strong understanding of critical path methodology, programme logic, schedule management, and programme governance.
- Experience reviewing contractor programmes and working within multi-contractor project environments.
- Knowledge of schedule risk analysis, programme reporting, and project controls best practice.
- Experience supporting delay analysis, extension of time assessments, and project change management.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex programme information clearly.
- Experience with Power BI or other programme reporting and visualisation tools would be advantageous.
