Salary: Competitive day rate depending on experience
Contract length: 12 to 18 month contracts
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out load flow, short circuit and stability studies, including grid connection studies for new generation
- Develop and validate power system models that support compliance submissions
- Assess network performance, reliability and compliance with the UK Grid Code
- Work with planning, protection and control teams to maintain system integrity
Experience & Qualifications:
- Previous power systems analysis experience on generation, storage, transmission or distribution projects
- Proficiency in PowerFactory, PSS/E or PSCAD
- Understanding of UK Grid Code compliance requirements and connection studies
- Strong analytical and report writing skills
- Degree or MSc in electrical power engineering advantageous
