Location: Norfolk, UK
Working Pattern: 5 days per week at site | 8 hours per day

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Inspector to support site QA/QC and project teams on a major project in Norfolk. The role involves inspecting, monitoring, and reporting on HV/LV, building services, and HVDC electrical works to ensure full compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect and witness electrical installation, testing, and commissioning activities

*

Monitor contractor and subcontractor quality and compliance with ITPs and project specifications

*

Liaise with contractors, QA/QC, HSE, and client teams

*

Participate in inspections, quality walks, meetings, and snagging activities

*

Review drawings, procedures, and as-built documentation

*

Record inspections and manage NCRs using LetsBuild (Aproplan)

*

Produce daily and weekly site reports

*

Support site safety initiatives and assist with technical issue resolution

Key Requirements

*

Time-served LV/MV or HV Electrical Inspector

*

HNC/HND or recognised electrical craft qualification

*

SSSTS, CCNSG (Supervisor), xiskglj NEBOSH Construction Certificate, or equivalent

*

National Grid Accredited Person with BESC training

*

Strong knowledge of HV installation, testing, and commissioning

*

Experience working under CDM 2015 regulations

*

IT literate (MS Office, Teams, Outlook)
