We’re currently looking for an Electrical Site Engineer to support a major energy infrastructure project in Manchester for a leading Independent Power Producer (IPP). This is a site-based role suited to someone with a strong electrical installation background who has ideally progressed from the tools into site engineering, and is comfortable managing subcontractors and overseeing day-to-day electrical works.
Contract Details:
- Manchester – site based Monday–Friday
- Initial 5–6 month contract
- Day Rate: Negotiable (Outside IR35)
- ASAP start
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing electrical subcontractors on site
- Responding to technical queries (TQs)
- Coordinating electrical works and site activities
- Monitoring progress against programme
- Ensuring works are completed safely and to the required quality standards
What We’re Looking For:
- Electrical site engineering experience across energy or major infrastructure projects
- Strong electrical installation background
- Experience managing subcontractors and resolving technical issues
- HND/HNC preferred
- City & Guilds considered for candidates with 20+ years' relevant experience
- Able to commute to Manchester Monday–Friday
- BESS/renewables experience beneficial but not essential
