Why this role (and why now)

If you’ve spent your first 6–18 months in a target-driven role (estate agency, lettings, insurance, sales, etc.), you’ve likely learned the basics — resilience, pace, commercial thinking. Now you’re probably asking: “Where can I actually build something bigger?” This is that step. At Mint Selection, we help build the companies driving the energy transition — from high-growth startups to market leaders. Your work directly contributes to scaling businesses tackling climate and infrastructure challenges. And importantly: Your progression here is not time-bound — it’s performance-led.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll join our Training Academy, designed to take people with early commercial experience and accelerate them into high-performing consultants. You’ll learn:

  • How to build and manage client relationships
  • How to work high-value roles in a specialist market
  • How to operate in search, advisory, and deal-driven recruitment
  • How to generate revenue and scale a desk

You’ll get exposure to senior clients and candidates early, with real responsibility. As you develop, you’ll naturally move toward:

  • Billing roles
  • Client advisory
  • Market specialist or leadership paths

Career Growth (The Big One)

We don’t do slow, rigid progression.

  • Promotions based on output and capability — not tenure
  • Early exposure to clients, strategy, and high-value work
  • Opportunity to move into leadership, new markets, or specialist roles

It’s entirely possible to progress faster than traditional paths (consulting, corporate grad schemes, etc.)

Earnings (Transparent & Realistic)

  • Competitive base salary (reviewed ~6 months in)
  • Uncapped commission from day one
  • Typical hours: 8:30am–5:30pm (Mon–Fri)
  • No weekends expected

Want balance? You can earn well doing standard hours. Want top-tier earnings? You’ll push harder and be rewarded for it.

Who we’re looking for

  • 6–18 months experience in estate agency, lettings, insurance, or similar sales roles
  • Comfortable working toward targets
  • Commercially minded and motivated by earning potential
  • Wants a career, not just another job
  • Confident, curious, and people-oriented

What’s on offer

  • Competitive base + uncapped commission
  • Clear progression pathways
  • Incentive trips, socials, and perks
  • Private medical + gym contribution
  • 50% employee-owned business (long-term equity opportunity)
  • High-performance, supportive culture
  • Central London office (London Bridge)
