The predicted salary is between 25.2 - 30.8 £ per hour.
Mint Selection are currently recruiting for a Working Supervisor / Telehandler Operator to support the delivery of a major Energy Storage project based in Exeter. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK's largest energy infrastructure projects, working alongside a leading principal contractor delivering critical energy transition projects. This is a hands-on role where you will be expected to supervise a small team of operatives while also operating the telehandler and assisting with general site activities.
Responsibilities
- Supervising a team of General Operatives on site
- Operating the telehandler to move materials, plant and equipment safely across site
- Coordinating daily work activities and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently
- Supporting the Site Manager with day-to-day site operations
- Managing material deliveries, storage and site logistics
- Assisting with loading, unloading and distributing materials where required
- Ensuring high standards of housekeeping are maintained at all times
- Carrying out daily briefings and promoting a strong health & safety culture
- Monitoring productivity and ensuring works are completed to programme
- Completing site records and reporting progress to the Site Management team
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Working Supervisor, General Foreman or Supervisor on construction, renewable energy or infrastructure projects
- Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler Ticket (Essential)
- Valid CSCS Card (Essential)
- SSSTS preferred (SMSTS advantageous)
- Ability to supervise operatives whilst remaining hands-on throughout the working day
- Strong understanding of site health & safety procedures
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence desirable
- Must be able to provide two strong, recent work references
