Key Responsibilities

  • Document Control & Management: Manage all project documentation throughout the lifecycle of flexible generation projects, ensuring accurate version control and filing. Maintain and update the document management system (InEight or equivalent), ensuring consistency and compliance with project standards. Ensure engineering drawings, specifications, contracts, reports, and records are correctly captured, stored, and distributed. Conduct regular audits of document repositories to ensure quality and completeness.
  • Project Support: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and external contractors to facilitate smooth information flow. Support document submissions, approvals, transmittals, and workflows. Ensure documentation is aligned with governance, regulatory, and compliance requirements. Assist in preparing document packages for stage-gate reviews, client submissions, and handover.
  • Coordination & Communication: Act as a central point of contact for document queries from internal teams and external partners. Coordinate updates, communicate document deadlines, and ensure timely document submissions. Provide user support and guidance on document management processes and tools.

About You

  • Experience in document control, ideally within energy, utilities, construction, engineering, or infrastructure environments.
  • Strong understanding of document management processes, workflows, and best practices.
  • Experience with InEight, Aconex, Viewpoint, SharePoint, or other document control platforms (InEight preferred but not essential).
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of documents with accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications; confident working with digital systems.
  • A proactive, methodical, and process-driven mindset.
