Salary: Competitive day rate depending on experience
Contract length: 12 to 18 month contracts
Mint Selection is speaking with experienced HSE Managers ahead of upcoming contract requirements across renewable energy and grid infrastructure construction. Projects of this kind combine heavy civil works with high voltage installation, so the role calls for someone who can set the safety standard and hold it on site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and monitor health, safety and environmental management across construction sites
- Review RAMS, permits and method statements, and carry out site audits and inspections
- Investigate incidents and near misses, and drive corrective actions to closure
- Advise project and site leadership on CDM 2015 duties, HV safety and regulatory compliance
Experience & Qualifications:
- A NEBOSH construction qualification, with Chartered or Technical IOSH membership advantageous
- Previous HSE management experience on construction projects in energy, utilities or infrastructure
- Working knowledge of CDM 2015, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
- Familiarity with HV working, permit to work and switching safety procedures preferred
- Confidence advising senior project stakeholders and engaging site teams
