We work with a wide range of clients, supplying high-quality staff and delivering a professional, compliant, and people-focused service. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Admin Assistant to support our Contract Catering department, with a strong focus on compliance, safeguarding, and day-to-day administration.
The Role
As an Admin Assistant within our Contract Catering team, you will play a key role in ensuring our workforce is fully compliant and that administrative processes run smoothly. This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys structure, accuracy, and working as part of a busy team.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing DBS checks, third-party background checks, and other safeguarding requirements
- Managing Right to Work (RTW) checks in line with current legislation
- Supporting candidate onboarding and maintaining accurate compliance records
- Processing and checking timesheets to ensure accuracy and deadlines are met
- Updating internal systems and spreadsheets with candidate and client information
- Liaising with candidates, clients, and third-party providers regarding documentation and checks
- Assisting the Contract Catering team with general administrative support
- Preparing and maintaining digital files and records
- Handling emails, phone calls, and internal communications
- Supporting other administrative duties as required by the business
What We're Looking For
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information
- Confident using Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Outlook)
- Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- A clear and professional communicator
- Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced recruitment environment
Previous experience in administration, compliance, recruitment, or safeguarding is desirable, but not essential for the right candidate with a strong attitude and willingness to learn.
