This is a busy, hands-on role covering everything from recruitment and workforce planning to client communication, event delivery and problem-solving.

You’ll work with some of the UK’s best-known venues, events, hotels and hospitality businesses, making sure they have the right people in the right place at the right time.

At Mint, you’ll be trusted to take ownership of your workload, build relationships with clients and staff, and make decisions when things need sorting.

If you’re organised, confident with people and like working in an environment where every week looks different, this could be the role for you.

  • THE PACKAGE
  • Salary increase after one year of service
  • Full-time position
  • Clear opportunities for career progression within Mint People
  • A varied role working across major clients, venues and events
  • Training and support from an experienced operations team
  • The chance to build experience across recruitment, staffing, client management and event operations

THE ROLE

As an Operations Executive, you’ll be responsible for helping manage the full staffing process, from bringing new people into the business through to making sure every shift is properly covered and delivered.

You’ll work closely with clients, candidates, temporary staff and the wider Mint team.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Recruiting, screening and interviewing new team members
  • Completing onboarding, right-to-work checks and compliance processes
  • Planning rotas and scheduling staff across multiple clients and venues
  • Managing staff availability and filling staffing requirements
  • Building strong relationships with clients and understanding their requirements
  • Communicating regularly with staff before, during and after shifts
  • Supporting on-call operations and resolving last-minute staffing issues
  • Attending venues and events to manage staff check-ins and support delivery
  • Handling staff welfare issues when required
  • Making sure timesheets and shift information are accurate for payroll
  • Supporting client and staff pay queries
  • Attending client meetings and site visits where required
  • Monitoring staffing levels and identifying potential problems before they affect delivery
  • Working closely with other Mint departments during large events and busy periods

There will be times when plans change quickly. You’ll need to stay organised, communicate clearly and find a solution.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Experience within hospitality, recruitment, staffing or events would be useful, but we’re equally interested in people with strong organisation, communication and people skills who are ready to learn.

We’re looking for someone with

  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Confidence speaking with clients, candidates and staff
  • The ability to manage several priorities at once
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Confidence making decisions and taking responsibility
  • Strong Microsoft 365 and general technology skills
  • A professional telephone manner
  • A positive, reliable approach to work
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
  • Flexibility around working hours during busy events and weekends
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred due to travel to clients and events

This is not a traditional Monday to Friday desk role.

Our business operates seven days a week, so the position works across five days out of seven on a rota, with some weekends, early starts and late finishes depending on the needs of our clients.
