Mint People are looking for an experienced Production Operative to work at a new, dynamic, and fast paced business in Swinton Manchester. This role is for a E-Cigarette company and the ideal candidate will have experience working in production and/or manufacturing, with special focus on liquid filling machines. The successful candidate will be able to run the machines and will have a technical problem solving background.

The role will be Monday to Friday (but could include the occasional weekend), and the working hours are 6am til 2pm or 2pm til 11pm daily, with the option of occasional paid overtime.

  • Hourly rate: National Minimum Wage
  • Pay: every 2 weeks on Fridays

What the ideal candidate looks like:

  • Machine operation experience (highly preferred)
  • Experience working in Quality Control (highly preferred)
  • Ability to work accurately and methodically
  • Team player with the ability to work on your own
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Flexible approach to duties and tasks
  • An understanding of health & safety requirements
  • Previous experience within a production facility is required

The Production Operative should be a well organised and highly motivated individual who can work to strict deadlines whilst ensuring the production plan is met. The role is to assist in delivering the high output of products and ensuring production plans are met.

The role includes:

  • To ensure that the machinery is fit for operation at all times
  • Ensuring goods are to the highest of standards during the production
  • Packaging and labelling of goods
  • To demonstrate a determined approach in order to meet deadlines and quality
  • To adhere to quality control standards and procedures at all times
