👨 🍳 Chef de Partie – Manchester Area
We are currently looking for Chef de Parties to join the Mint People team to work in the general Manchester area. This is a great opportunity for a reliable chef looking for flexible shifts that match your timetable, with ongoing positions available for those who stand out.
Pay will be £15-£19 depending on where you work and your skill level, paid the Friday two weeks after you have worked.
As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for running your section during service, preparing and cooking dishes to a high standard, and ensuring all food is presented consistently. You will work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities include:

Preparing, cooking and presenting food to a high standard

Running and maintaining your own section during service

Completing food preparation

Following recipes and portion control standards

Ensuring high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness

Managing stock levels and minimising food waste

Supporting the wider kitchen team when required

Working efficiently during busy restaurant services
Requirements:

Previous Chef de Partie experience (at least one year)

Good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen procedures

Ability to work well under pressure

Reliable and hardworking attitude (e.g., not pulling out of shifts last minute unless you have an outstanding emergency)

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Driving licence and a car is preferred
