As a Kitchen Porter, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Washing cutlery, crockery, glassware, and kitchen utensils using industrial dishwashers.
- Cleaning pots, pans, and larger kitchen equipment by hand or using commercial washing equipment.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout all kitchen and food preparation areas.
- Assisting chefs by ensuring clean equipment is always available during busy service periods.
- Carrying out cleaning and sanitising procedures before, during, and after service.
- Removing waste and recycling in line with health and safety procedures.
- Keeping floors, work surfaces, storage areas, and kitchen equipment clean and hazard-free.
- Supporting the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during high-volume events.
- Following all food hygiene, health & safety, and company procedures at all times.
