We are currently recruiting for an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at a stunning exclusive wedding venue based in Clitheroe. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a professional and supportive brigade, delivering exceptional food for exclusive weddings and private events. The successful candidate will play an important role in creating memorable dining experiences, preparing everything from elegant pre-wedding dining and beautifully presented wedding breakfasts to relaxed evening food, including freshly prepared pizzas and other evening offerings.

The Role

  • Managing your own section during preparation and service.
  • Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to a consistently high standard.
  • Assisting with the delivery of exclusive pre-wedding dining, wedding breakfasts and evening food service, including pizzas.
  • Ensuring food quality, portion control and presentation meet the venue's high standards.
  • Maintaining excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards in line with current legislation.
  • Supporting junior members of the kitchen team and contributing to a positive working environment.
  • Working efficiently under pressure to ensure smooth service during weddings and events.
  • Helping maintain a clean, organised and well-presented kitchen at all times.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or an experienced Commis Chef ready to progress.
  • A passion for producing fresh, high-quality food.
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP procedures.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and during the busy wedding season.
