We're looking for a passionate and reliable Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at our busy countryside pub and restaurant in the heart of the Ribble Valley.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Chef de Partie, you'll be responsible for running your own section of the kitchen while working closely with the Head Chef and wider team. Your duties will include:

  • Preparing, cooking and presenting high-quality dishes to a consistently high standard
  • Managing your designated section efficiently during service
  • Assisting with menu development and daily specials
  • Maintaining excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards
  • Ensuring food is stored, labelled and rotated correctly
  • Monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering and stock control
  • Minimising food waste and maintaining cost-effective kitchen practices
  • Supporting and mentoring junior kitchen staff where required
  • Working as part of a professional and friendly team to deliver an outstanding dining experience
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or an experienced Commis Chef ready to step up
  • Passion for fresh, seasonal food and quality cooking
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a busy service
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • A positive attitude and excellent teamwork
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene procedures
