Hotel Night Porter – Carlisle

We’re currently recruiting for a Night Porter to join a hotel in the centre of Carlisle. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone reliable, professional, and customer-focused who enjoys working independently during the night shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a warm and professional welcome to all guests arriving or departing overnight.
- Ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and the premises during night hours.
- Handle late check-ins and early check-outs efficiently.
- Assist with setting up for breakfast service or events as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation in public areas.
- Complete regular security and safety checks throughout the building.
- Respond to guest queries and provide exceptional customer service at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a night porter or in a similar hotel front-of-house role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle night-time responsibilities confidently.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and well-presented.
- Flexibility to work 10:30pm – 7:00am, 5 days per week- week 1 Wednesday-Sunday
