Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Bartender role based in Uttoxeter. The Bartender will prepare and serve a range of cocktails and beverages, following company recipes and presentation standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting up and closing down bar stations, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and ensuring all beverages are served safely and responsibly. The role involves interacting with guests, answering questions about drinks, providing recommendations, and delivering a welcoming, professional service at corporate events, training sessions, and private functions. The Bartender will also handle cash and card payments, support stock control, and collaborate with the wider event team to ensure smooth service throughout each event.
Qualifications
- Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to engage guests, manage questions, and support positive event experiences.
- Solid Food & Beverage and Bartending skills, including cocktail preparation, basic mixology knowledge, and adherence to safety and hygiene standards.
- Reliable Cash Handling abilities with attention to accuracy, accountability, and secure payment processing.
- Previous experience in bar, hospitality, or event service environments is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and flexible hours in line with event schedules.
- Capability to stand for extended periods and lift or move bar supplies as needed.
- Knowledge of responsible alcohol service practices and relevant local regulations is an advantage.
