MINSTER is a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, searching for a Warehouse Supervisor who is passionate about great service to join the West Drayton site.
Hours: 7:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers to the branch and take an active interest in their projects.
- Managing directly a team of Warehouse Operatives.
- Producing monthly reports.
- Supporting the Branch Director and Operations Manager.
- Ensure your team are set up for the day, including delivery drivers with route planning.
- Help to process and prepare customer orders – load and unload customer and supplier vehicles using a forklift truck to minimise manual handling (training will be provided!).
- Work as a direct support to the management team and act as a keyholder when needed.
- Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products.
- Maintain stock levels in both the warehouse and yard areas, carrying out regular stock counts.
- Keep the branch looking clean and tidy and make Health & Safety a priority.
- Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement.
