Minster, a specialist insulation & dry-lining distributor, is seeking a Branch Operations Manager who is passionate about great service.
Hours: 6.00am – 4.00pm Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers to the branch and take an active interest in their projects
- Manage a team of Warehouse Operatives and Drivers
- Produce monthly reports
- Support the Branch Manager
- Ensure the team is set up for the day, including delivery drivers and route planning
- Help process and prepare customer orders – load and unload customer and supplier vehicles using a forklift truck to minimise manual handling (training provided)
- Act as direct support to the management team and serve as a keyholder when needed
- Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products
- Maintain stock levels in both the warehouse and yard areas, carrying out regular stock counts
- Keep the branch looking clean and tidy and make Health & Safety a priority
- Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement
Required Skills and Experience:
- Background within Warehouse and Transport Management
- A positive team player who is a strong and inclusive leader
- A genuine enthusiasm for dealing with customers, and a ‘customer 1st’ attitude
- Confident working both indoors and outdoors, with a strong focus on H&S
- Commercial acumen
