Overview
Support Cleaner (Driving / Mobile) for the Sussex Branch of a national office cleaning company. The role involves driving to sites and cleaning offices, shops, schools, doctor’s surgeries and police stations in East and West Sussex, working with regular cleaners to improve standards, or cleaning sites during their absence, and monitoring stock while communicating between the field team and the office.
Responsibilities
- Drive to client sites within East and West Sussex and perform cleaning tasks in offices, shops, schools, doctor’s surgeries and police stations.
- Work with regular cleaners to improve standards or cover for cleaners during their absence.
- Monitor stock and communicate between the field team and the office.
- Ensure timely completion of tasks in the evenings, early mornings, days, and weekends as required; be flexible for short-notice requests.
Role Details
- Contract: Permanent
- Hours: Approximately 25–30 hours per week with varying shifts (evenings, early mornings, days, and weekends).
- Location: Within easy driving distance to customers in Portslade, Shoreham, Lancing, Worthing, or Henfield areas.
- Compensation: Starting pay £13.60 per hour, with travelling time and time on sites paid.
- Transport: Company car or van provided.
- Training and support provided; uniform supplied.
- Requirements: Clean or near-clean Manual Driving Licence; ability to demonstrate safe driving in the UK.
- Background check: DBS/CRB check required; must have a checkable employment history with record of home addresses.
