To handle a portfolio of claimant serious injury claims for Minster Law clients, generating fee income and contributing to the general success of the department. The caseload is predominantly RTA based and cases are valued up to £50,000.
Core Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent client care to clients who have suffered traumatic and life‑changing events.
- Maintain regular communication and face‑to‑face meetings with clients.
- Coordinate instructions and meetings with a multidisciplinary team of experts, including medical experts, case managers, care experts, architects, forensic accountants, and counsel.
- Analyze evidence and research legal issues on liability, causation and quantum.
- Draft documents such as statements, pleadings and schedules of loss.
- Secure early interim payments and appropriate rehabilitation.
- Work with a task‑based case management system to ensure regular contact with all clients, providing exceptional customer service and managing expectations.
- Raise awareness of the department and develop your profile.
- Perform to a high level in a target‑oriented environment.
- Undertake any other tasks deemed relevant and reasonable by the business.
Key Performance Indicators
KPIs and objectives will be discussed and agreed on a one‑to‑one basis. Regular meetings with the line manager will review performance and identify areas for development and support.
