What you’ll be working on
You will handle your own portfolio of pursuer injury claims both pre-litigation and litigated, including basic injury and complex, serious injury claims. You will have a strong focus to generate fee income and contribute to the general success of the team.
Day-to-day
- Delivering excellent client care to our clients who have suffered from a traumatic and life changing event.
- Instructions and meetings with clients and expert witnesses.
- Analysis of evidence and research of legal issues on liability, causation, and quantum.
- Drafting documents including statements, pleadings, and all court documents.
- Securing early interim payments and appropriate rehabilitation.
- Ability to work within a task-based case management system to ensure regular contact is maintained with all clients, providing exceptional customer service and managing their expectations.
- Raising awareness of the department and developing your profile by regularly reporting cases, preparing articles and testimonials and commentary on relevant, current issues.
- Conduct regular technical and case reviews, providing updates and feedback to management.
- Supervision, mentoring, endorsing court documents and assisting in the development of junior members of the team as appropriate.
- Perform to a high level in a target orientated environment.
- To undertake any other tasks as deemed relevant and reasonable by the business.
You should apply if

- Excellent communication skills to include negotiation and objection handling
- Accountable for achieving objectives in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining high standards of work quality and client care.
- Competent working with a case management system and good knowledge of Excel and Word.
- Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
