Job Title: Case Resolution Executives (Finance)
Responsible to: Team Leader

Job Summary
Ensure the accurate and efficient processing of financial instructions ensuring that SRA Accounts Rules are complied with and the required SLAs are met.
This role will also require working with the organisation and your team to ensure that we are delivering an excellent service that meets the needs of the business. You will therefore need to be a good communicator, confident and self-motivated whilst displaying company values.
Core Responsibilities
Cash Transaction Duties
- Ensure compliance with SRA accounts rules and HOFA requirements
- Finance transactions are processed and completed in a timely and accurate manner
- Processing payments to customers throughout their claim in line with regulatory requirements and SLAs
- Ensure cheques received into the business are banked in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring daily reconciliations and banking reports are completed in accordance with agreed processes
- Ensure daily allocated tasks are posted accurately and completed in accordance with agreed processes.
- Processing costs and disbursement payments in line with relevant instructions
- Financial procedures relating to reconciliation and payment activity.
- Electronic data inputting and data reconciliation.
- Archiving, scanning, photocopying.
- Electronic data inputting and data reconciliation.
- Maintain and update the case management system.
- Data interrogation, numeracy reconciliation and ability to use Microsoft Office.
- To undertake any other tasks as deemed relevant and reasonable by the business.
- To undertake general office duties as and when required
Key Performance Indicators
The following KPIs will apply to you; this list is not exhaustive and may change as the business develops:
- Ensure money is processed in a timely manner avoiding any breaches of SRA Accounts Rules.
- Ensure daily allocated tasks are posted accurately and completed in accordance with agreed processes.
- Ensure training is provided and completed in order for daily allocated tasks to be completed in accordance with agreed processes
Your performance will be reviewed on a monthly basis through one-to-one meetings with your Line Manager.
Person specification
Essential
- Experience of working in a high volume and delivery focused finance environment.
- Highly organised and able to work under pressure to strict deadlines.
- Ability to prioritise and plan with excellent time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and able to communicate at all levels.
- Dynamic, proactive, self-motivated and uses own initiative.
- Good Microsoft skills, including word and excel.
Desirable
- Understanding of SRA accounts rules and ideally worked within a legal environment.
- Previous experience of working with Proclaim operating systems, or another similar Finance IT system.
- Shows a willingness to get involved and have a hands on approach.
- Robust – able to deal with changing circumstances and challenging situations whilst still achieving objectives.
- Team Player and acts as a role model to your colleagues, working together to achieve business and team goals. Works well within a team but with the ability to work independently.
