Monday to Friday | 37.5 hours per week (Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri: 08:50–16:10 | Wed: 08:50–17:00)

About the Role: As a Support Worker in our Day Opportunities team, you will help individuals take part in a wide range of meaningful and fun activities—supporting their personal development, creativity and independence. Your role will include:

  • Supporting individuals to engage in a timetable of activities and sessions
  • Working closely with session leaders to plan resources, sessions and transport
  • Supporting personal, social and healthcare needs while keeping accurate records
  • Helping individuals meet their goals around wellbeing, independence and personal growth
  • Working both independently and as part of a supportive team
  • Providing help with general daily tasks where required

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in a social care setting or in leading activities for people with learning disabilities
  • The ability to work calmly, confidently and professionally
  • Strong skills in building positive relationships with colleagues, volunteers, families and carers
  • A willingness to learn and develop your skills further—training is provided
  • Level 2 NVQ in Health & Social Care (desirable)
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • The ability and willingness to drive a mini‑bus (essential)
