About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Cleaner to help maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety across our Residential service. You'll ensure our communal areas, staff spaces, kitchens, and equipment remain clean, welcoming, and compliant with all infection control and food safety standards. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys creating a spotless environment and takes pride in their work.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean fridges, including the medication room fridge
- Dust door frames, skirting boards, lights, pictures, and stair rails
- Hoover floors, stairs, and communal areas
- Clean bathrooms, foyers, porches, and fire escape stairs
- Keep sheds tidy and report issues
- Complete occasional gardening or car cleaning tasks
- Clean and disinfect kitchen bins and appliances
- Deep clean kitchen and ovens according to the schedule
- Descale kettles
- Clean washing machines and tumble dryer filters
- Maintain hygienic food preparation and storage areas
- Wash medication tabards, aprons, and gloves
- Follow all infection control and health & safety procedures
- Use cleaning products and PPE safely
- Participate in training and follow organisational policies
