The predicted salary is between 12 - 13 £ per hour.

Location: Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole

Flexible shifts, 365 days a year (Incl. weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis)

Salary – £12.25 per hour (Rising to £13.25 per hour subject to skills assessment after 6 months)

The role

  • To support individuals to meet their goals and outcomes in health, well-being, and independence
  • Assist individuals with their needs where required, whilst maintaining accurate records
  • To work as part of a team as well as lone working within the community, providing 1:1 support
  • Work with allocated individuals as their keyworker
  • Adapt communication skills and care approach to meet the needs of the people we support in a way that promotes dignity and respect
  • Support individuals with everyday tasks and activities of their choosing
  • Support people with complex needs and who may present with behaviours that challenge.

  • Experience of providing high levels of care and support to those with learning disabilities, complex needs and behaviours that challenge
  • Confident when lone working

  • UK Driving Licence with access to a car

Due to the location of the role a UK Driving licence with access to a car for business use is essential. This role will be subject to an enhanced DBS Disclosure, which the cost incurred will be paid by Minstead Trust.
