Be part of something real

At SDL, you won’t be lost in a big corporate machine - you’ll join a friendly, supportive, family-run business where people look out for each other. We’ve built our reputation over 47 years by treating customers well and taking care of our teams. When you join us, you become part of that family ethos from day one.

What you’ll be doing

This is a hands-on role at the heart of our head office. You’ll be providing marketing and admin support to the marketing manager, whilst assisting with campaign delivery, content creation, proofing and strengthening engagement. If you enjoy all things marketing and content then this is a superb role for you.

Who we’re looking for

  • Marketing or content experience is highly advantageous for this role, but we aren't looking for extensive years in the role, 1-2 years is fine.
  • Assist with uploading and updating website content via the CMS.
  • Keep the website monitored and maintained, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
  • Support social media activity by scheduling posts and monitoring engagement.
  • Assist with collecting content (images, updates, information) from branches and internal teams.
  • Create engaging written content for social media, the website, newsletters and internal communications.
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns.
  • Assist with sending out communications, materials and campaign updates to branches.
  • Support the Marketing Manager with daily ad-hoc tasks as required by branches and departments.
  • Provide general administrative support on a daily basis.
  • Maintain and update databases, spreadsheets, and contact lists.
  • Assist with preparing presentations and documents.
  • Organise and maintain marketing files, assets, and shared folders.
  • Experience with Canva, Adobe or similar software is helpful, but not essential.

We promote people based on attitude and performance, not how long they’ve been here. For example: Jordan joined with no experience and is now a Branch Supervisor. Hannah moved from retail and is now a Senior Sales Advisor. Your progression is genuinely in your hands.

What we offer

  • Discounts on retail, gyms, travel, entertainment and more.
  • Company-branded uniform.
  • 24/7 employee advice line & GP phone access.
  • Death in Service cover.
  • Extra holidays for long service.
  • And above all - a stable role in a friendly, growing business that values what you do.

30 hours per week, Monday–Friday between 8am and 5pm.
