SDL Car Parts is looking for a Parts Sales Advisor to come and join us at our Derby Branch. Each working week consists of 45 hours, made up of 5 x 8.5-hour days Monday to Friday. Shift patterns are generally 8am to 5pm (or 8.30am to 5.30pm) which includes an additional 5 hours on every alternate Saturday in accordance with the rota. You are entitled to a meal break of 30 minutes.

What will the role be?
- Provide products, information and meet customer requirements via Telephone and Sales Counter.
- Provide our customers with excellent customer service and deliver their product requirements via Telephone & Sales counter.
- Ensure the products supplied are 100% correct to the customers’ requirements.
- Ensure we offer high quality customer service day in day out.
- Communicate our fantastic offers / promotions to our customer network.
- Work closely with the logistics department to ensure all parts are delivered when they are needed.
- Primarily local branch based.
- Be part of the team that represents our company and maintain our high standards.
What will the Role Require?
- An excellent team player with a desire to succeed
- Motor Factor Sales Experience [Or a strong interest in cars, great mechanical knowledge and a keen interest in sales, upselling etc]
- Computer literate and ideally possess basic IT Skills.
- Ideally experience with MAM software (or similar) & OE cataloguing sites.
- Excellent communication skills even when under pressure.
- Numeracy and literacy.
- Professional Manner.
- A smart personal appearance.
Salary: £28,571.40 to £32,000 per year.
