Sous Chef (f/m/d) - The WestDill Mayfair Hotel London, Colbert Collection in City of Westminster

For the opening of The WestDill Mayfair Hotel London, Colbert Collection, we are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Sous Chef to support our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences and the highest standards of luxury hospitality.

Join one of the first 75 team members and play a defining role in launching a new luxury destination in Mayfair. From day one, you will help shape the culture, service standards and guest experience that set the hotel apart.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Support the Head Chef in the daily operation of the kitchen
• Lead, motivate and develop the culinary team, ensuring exceptional quality and consistency
• Oversee food preparation and service, maintaining the highest standards of presentation and guest satisfaction
• Assist in the development and execution of seasonal menus and culinary concepts
• Monitor stock levels, food quality and kitchen efficiency to support effective cost control
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene, health and safety regulations
• Collaborate closely with other departments to deliver seamless guest experiences

How can you succeed in this role

• Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef within a luxury hotel or fine dining environment
• Strong culinary skills with a passion for quality, creativity and modern cuisine
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a fast-paced environment
• Good understanding of food cost control, kitchen operations and inventory management
• Excellent knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety standards
• Hands-on approach with exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to culinary excellence
