For the opening of The WestDill Mayfair Hotel London, Colbert Collection, we are seeking a skilled and service-oriented Shift Engineer to support the daily operation and maintenance of our property. In this role, you will help ensure that all facilities, equipment, and guest areas are maintained to the highest standards, contributing to a seamless luxury guest experience.
Join one of the first 75 team members and play a defining role in launching a new luxury destination in Mayfair. From day one, you will help shape the culture, service standards and guest experience that set the hotel apart.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repair works across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
- Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests and technical issues.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure the safety, functionality, and presentation of the property.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and general maintenance issues.
- Support the smooth day-to-day operation of all hotel facilities and equipment.
- Work closely with operational departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and statutory requirements.

- Previous experience in a maintenance or engineering role, preferably within a luxury hotel environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of general building maintenance, electrical, mechanical, or plumbing systems.
