For the opening of The WestDill Mayfair Hotel London, Colbert Collection, we are seeking a passionate and motivated Commis Chef to support our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Join one of the first 75 team members and play a defining role in launching a new luxury destination in Mayfair. From day one, you will help shape the culture, service standards and guest experience that set the hotel apart.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes across the kitchen.
  • Assist Chef de Parties and senior chefs with daily mise en place and service operations.
  • Ensure ingredients are prepared and available to support efficient kitchen operations.
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety, and organization.
  • Follow recipes, preparation methods, and presentation standards consistently.

How can you succeed in this role

  • Previous experience as a Commis Chef or Kitchen Assistant within a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality environment is preferred.
  • Strong passion for food, culinary excellence, and continuous development.
  • Basic culinary knowledge and a strong desire to develop technical cooking skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and strong team spirit.
  • Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety practices.
