For the opening of The WestDill Mayfair Hotel London, Colbert Collection, we are seeking an experiencedLead Steward to support our Culinary and Food & Beverage teams. In this supervisory role, you will help ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization across all kitchen and back-of-house areas while supporting the stewarding team.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Support and coordinate the daily activities of the Stewarding team.
Ensure cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
Monitor cleaning schedules and sanitation procedures.
Maintain stewarding stores, operating equipment, and waste management processes.
Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and health & safety standards.
Work closely with Culinary and Food & Beverage teams to support smooth operations.
Assist with training and guiding team members where required.
How can you succeed in this role
Previous experience in a Stewarding role, ideally with some supervisory responsibilities.
Good knowledge of hygiene, food safety, and health & safety standards.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Positive, reliable, and team-oriented approach.
Willingness to lead by example and support team development.
Fluency in English preferred.
