ABOUT THE ROLE
The accuracy of the financial data, reconciliations and supplier relationships is the key foundations of building a world class finance function. This role works closely with finance, the business and external suppliers.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is comfortable moving between process ownership, analysis, supplier communication, reconciliation, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced FMCG environment.
WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Day to Day
● Management of purchase order process & ensuring that all invoices are correctly
authorised
● Posting of supplier invoices & expenses, ensuring postings are made accurately and on
time
● Obtaining supplier statements & reconciling with ledger to ensure completeness
● Dealing with day-to-day supplier queries
● Ensure accuracy of VAT codes on expenses and invoices
● Preparation and management of weekly payment runs and payment of staff expenses
● Completion of bank and credit card reconciliations
● Responsible for reconciliation of accounts payable ledger at month end
Ad hoc
● Training new staff members on expenses & purchase order processes
● Assist with year-end audit queries
● Suggest improvements of systems and implement process changes to achieve efficiencies
● Support with restructuring of the Finance team and processes over the coming months

Now, let’s look at the experience we ideally need. You’ll need:
● Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Lead or similar experience
● To have worked in a fast-paced environment with a solid understanding of what a good AP
end to end process looks like
● To be a problem solver who can take ownership of a process
And if possible, but not necessary:
● Experience in working with Xero, Pleo and ApprovalMax
● Worked in high growth FMCG environment
● Familiarity with Drinks/Coffee/Oat milk manufacturing business
