We are looking for curious, commercially sharp individuals who can build relationships, drive growth and help us take Minor Figures to the next level in grocery and wholesale. If you are passionate about food and drink, and ready to make an impact, we would love to hear from you.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As our grocery and wholesale National Account Manager, you will take ownership of our wholesale and grocery channel across the UK, managing existing relationships and unlocking new opportunities to drive growth. You will work with national and regional wholesalers, delivered wholesale groups, and buying groups to grow sales and distribution across the independent retail and foodservice landscape.

You will work closely with our Sales, Marketing and Operations teams to build strong joint business plans, deliver account targets and activate campaigns that resonate with our customers. This is a high-impact role for someone who loves working with a wide range of partners and thrives on developing lasting relationships.

WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Own and manage the P&L for all wholesale & grocery accounts in the UK.
  • Build and manage relationships with key wholesale & grocery customers, including national and regional grocery & wholesalers, delivered wholesalers and buying groups.
  • Deliver distribution gains and maximise opportunities for NPD listings and core range expansion.
  • Develop and execute joint business plans with key grocery & wholesale partners.
  • Lead promotional planning and activation, including price promotions, incentives and marketing campaigns.
  • Track and analyse account performance, providing regular insight and recommendations to optimise results.
  • Identify and open new grocery & wholesale customers to expand Minor Figures’ distribution footprint.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on demand planning, forecasting, marketing, operations and supply chain.
  • Represent Minor Figures at key trade shows, events and customer meetings.

ABOUT YOUR TEAM

You will report to the Head of Grocery UK & Ireland and work alongside colleagues in Grocery, E-commerce, Operations and Marketing. You will also liaise with our International Sales team to align strategies where relevant. Our team works flexibly and remotely but stays closely connected. We are passionate about coffee, sustainability and making plant-based products that stand out in the market. You will be encouraged to take ownership of your accounts and make your mark.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for a commercially minded relationship-builder with a passion for wholesale & grocery and independent retail. Ideally, you will have:

  • Proven experience in grocery & wholesale account management, national accounts or a similar commercial role within the food and drink sector.
  • Strong understanding of the UK wholesale & grocery landscape, including delivered wholesale, cash & carry, and buying groups.
  • A track record of growing distribution and delivering sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Good commercial acumen with experience managing P&Ls, trade investment and pricing.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills.
  • Analytical skills to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • A proactive, self-starting attitude with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Confidence to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU

We know a great job is about more than salary. You will benefit from:

  • 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays (with up to 5 days carryover)
  • One additional day off to protest, volunteer or attend a demonstration
  • Health insurance through EquipsMe
  • Calm app membership for you and your family
  • Enhanced parental leave policy
  • Pension scheme (NEST)
  • Option to invest in Minor Figures shares
  • 30% staff discount
  • Vegan lunch and snacks when in the office
  • Cycle to work scheme

YOUR COMMITMENT

This is a UK-based role with flexible working. Some travel will be required for customer meetings, trade shows and team events. Core working hours are 9.00am to 5.30pm, with flexibility based on business needs.
