Minko's Macs is recruiting a permanent Senior Repair Technician and Sales Specialist for its London stores. This role pays £15 gross per hour and guarantees 40 paid hours per week over five eight-hour paid days, normally 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with one uninterrupted unpaid hour. Working days may be rostered Monday to Sunday. The successful applicant will select a preferred and second-choice branch from Camden, Wimbledon, Shoreditch and Lewisham.
Responsibilities
- Independently diagnose and complete authorised computer and device repairs within demonstrated competence.
- Maintain complete intake, consent, diagnosis, parts, labour, functional-check and safety records.
- Give accurate customer advice and quotations, provide timely updates and complete reliable handovers.
- Operate the store responsibly, including opening and closing, cash and EPOS controls, stock control, prioritisation and escalation.
- Process approved sales and support safe, honest and productive customer service.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to operate a physical retail or computer-repair store independently.
- Strong hands-on computer and device diagnosis and repair competence.
- At least ten years of relevant in-store experience, including substantial responsibility for running a store, will normally evidence the senior standard; equivalent demonstrated competence will be considered.
- Accurate record keeping, clear customer communication, reliability and the right to work in the UK.
- Ability to work at two agreed London branches and five rostered days between Monday and Sunday.
